The Real Boat

Hello everybody!

We want to show you our IPad kids application that we are working on and invite you to be a part of our beautiful journey. Join us in bringing an interactive adventure book to life. The book is made by professional artists, far away from the shallow industrial world. Are you tired from stupid and bad-quality apps? So, we are!

We are making an interactive, animated book for tablets and smartphones called "The Real Boat".

It's fun and playful but it still preserves the emotional depth of an adventure book.

We try to inspire the love of reading in children, light up their passion for the sea, stretch their imagination and let their creativity wander.

The story is written by an award-winning author and educator Marina Aromshtam.
This is the story about a little paper boat who dreams of reaching the ocean, despite never having seeing it before.

He starts out on a journey, meeting all kinds of animals, boats and ships along the way.The paper Boat gets himself into some hairy situations, but he never gives up!

Many of us have been that little paper boat at the beginning of our journeys.

Cucumber Ink is responsible for art direction, magic interaction, and programming of the app. And spellbinding animation will be done by StudioPoink.

Given that most investors do not really care for the artistic merit of their product, we need the direct support of our target audience. Since this audience is not massive, reaching it is crucial for leaving the project alive. We put all of our talent, and very much thought and effort into this project.

That is why we started our campaign on Kickstarter.
